---If so then join us in our mission to preserve the history of Central Kentucky railroading. The Bluegrass Railroad Museum is a completely volunteer run operation. Here you can learn about every part of running a railroad. The BGRM is in constant need of engineers, conductors, brakemen, car hosts, giftshop operators, or just plain folks who want to come out and help.
You can be part of something special by helping restore and preserve the history of Central Kentucky and the railroads that served it.
Want to learn how to run a locomotive? Join the BGRM
Help make repairs to the equipment used by the BGRM.
Work in a relaxed atmosphere as you help with restoration projects that help preserve history.
Help run our giftshop and ticket booth.
Learn skills like how to run equipment.
Or help run our excursion train.
The BGRM Wants You
The Bluegrass Railroad Museum is always ready to welcome new volunteers. If your interested please contact the museum and ask to be sent a copy of the official BGRM Membership Form.
Membership dues are as follows:
Regular Membership (1 year): $30
Family Membership (You AND Family for 1 year): $35
Sustaining: $40
Individual Life (1 Lifetime membership): $600
Family Life (You AND Family Life): $700
Once you have contacted the museum and recieve a copy of the official membership form please fill it out and along with your dues check please mail it to:
